25 years of playing guitar, a proven teaching method, and bilingual content strategy — all rooted in actually doing the work, not just talking about it.
I picked up the guitar when I was about 10 years old. That was 25 years ago. There have been stretches where I played every single day and periods where school or work took priority — but the guitar has always been there. It's the constant thread through everything else I've done.
Today, I run guitar lessons through Tokyo Guitar Academy, working under the supervision of my instructor with a proven method that's been tested with hundreds of students. I'm not reinventing the wheel — I'm applying a system that works and bringing my own experience as a long-time player to every lesson.
Outside of teaching, I play in a cover band — Tokyo Retro Band — performing at parties, festivals, and events around Tokyo. I also compose and record guitar parts for various projects. The playing never stops.
Most content strategies stop at one language. I build for two. Whether it's planning a social media calendar, creating posts, or developing a full content strategy — I think bilingually from the start, not as an afterthought.
I handle social media posting and content strategizing for brands that need to show up consistently across platforms. Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X — each one has its own language, and I don't mean English and Japanese. I mean the way people actually engage on each platform. That's what I build for.
